I am a Chemical Engineer with interest in analytical chemistry rather than production. My background is in analytical chemistry, proteomics, computer programming, and instrument repair in both university and commercial settings. I founded Focus BioLabs to make quality testing available and affordable to small companies and the general public while using the best equipment available.
I earned my Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Institute of Chemical Technology (previously known as UDCT) in Mumbai, India. Before joining Focus BioLabs, I was responsible for performing qualitative and quantitative analysis using LC-MS/MS techniques at the R.K. Coit College of Pharmacy, University of Arizona, Tucson.
I am the Microbiologist at Focus BioLabs and hold a B.S. in Microbiology and an M.P.H. in One Health from the University of Arizona. Over the past 10 years I have honed my expertise in Microbiology and Public Health within academic, clinical, and industry laboratory settings.
Armida has a background in finance and respiratory therapy. Her impeccable organizational skills keep Focus BioLabs operational in spite of the daily chaos of running a laboratory. She will be upgrading our billing, accounting, and sample tracking systems to ensure smooth operations.
